San Aerospace has developed in-house special-process capabilities to complement its precision machining and gear manufacturing operations. Bringing selected processes in-house provides greater control over manufacturing flow, process coordination, quality, and turnaround while supporting the requirements of precision aerospace and industrial components.
In-house application of dry film lubricant coatings as specified for applicable components and customer requirements.
In-house NITAL etch inspection capability supporting the inspection of applicable machined and ground components.
Class 2 furnace capability for hydrogen embrittlement relief and stress-relief processing in accordance with applicable component and customer requirements.
In-house black oxide coating capability for applicable components and specified requirements.
For processes outside our in-house scope, San Aerospace works with a network of NADCAP-accredited, AS9100-certified, and OEM-approved special-process suppliers, as applicable to customer requirements. This network supports processes including NDT, passivation, heat treatment, anodising, shot peening, chromic acid anodising, aluminium chromate conversion coating, and chrome plating.
This combination of in-house process capabilities and an established external special-process network allows San Aerospace to manage a broader manufacturing scope while maintaining focus on process control, quality, traceability, and reliable execution.
